I would love to hear what you think about legal drugs, such as marijuana. Are you against the use of it, or do you think, as with alcohol, that it can be used "in moderation" while maintaining self-control. Because its legal in Canada, I think it's a huge struggle for Christian parents to navigate this topic with their kids. We can't say alcohol is okay "in moderation" and because its legal, but then say, "marijuana is bad". Our kids will question...well...but, its legal and what if I only use it once a month? Maybe, its my generation, but I feel we shouldn't use marijuana at all as Christians. Because my kids are 23, 23, and 20, I've decided to completely abstain from alcohol as well. I know this is very strict & don't judge other Christians for drinking alcohol. But, I struggle with my kids viewing me as a hypocrite if I say alcohol is ok in moderation, but pot is not ok at all.🤔🇨🇦♥️

I absolutely love when we do this study! I've been listening, watching and applying. I haven't been very present because my mom passed away on the 6th of June. But just hearing the lessons and staying in God's word have truly sustained me.

I’m from a family of yellers too. I yelled all the time. I always felt horrible about it. It wasn’t until my oldest child was about to graduate that I did some deep thinking and said I was going to stop yelling. I didn’t want my children to have memories of my yelling. It’s been about 6 years. I wish I had stopped in time for her to enjoy the no yelling. 😔

My opinion from biblical scripture and real life, is that the man should be the main provider and career driven…. It takes an hour to deep clean a house, the kids are at school. The women should have a job 5 days a week in school hours, period… the man is not a slave but he is the main provider… it is near impossible for the average Christian man to singularly financially be able to pay for a house, a wife and children on his own… a women should be working while the kids are at school. Even just a minimum wage job is a place she enjoys… a florist, a garden Centre, a cafe, anything. But should not chase a career, she should be able to switch off from the job immediately as she leaves.

Timing is God as nothing is by coincidence.. I have been working on yelling past months..I hard worked on thinking through actions when my kids had been young however after hysterectomy my hormones felt oddly crazy off and I had noticed I fell into the bad habit of yelling.. yes I remember if the words are life or death that I am speaking. Seriously this is rhe most hilarious bs ive ever heard. Halloween is amazing and i love it. I love all the scary stuff and dressing up carbing pumpkins and going ro the corn maze but guess what im a Christian too and not wven that will stop me from celebrating Halloween all october long. Its the best time of the year. I was scared of it when i was lottle but i love it so much now ao much more then Christmas but Christmas and thankgiving is fun too. Nothing evil or wrong with halloween its so funny so many insane chrisitans think its so evil when its not its just a fun day of harmless spooky and i feel sad for kids who dont get to enjoy it. I have a niece who love Halloween as much as i do and i completely encourage it and her mom is fine with it. Shes christian and dont deprieve her kid from fun like so many christians seem too. We live in the real world not some delusional fantasy world of judgement and hate that these christian fundies have. Shame and so sad 😢
